Cassidy to Host Dyslexia Awareness Event Featuring Drs. Bennett and Sally Shaywitz
Congressman Bill Cassidy will Host a Dyslexia Awareness Event on November 12th and 13th in Baton Rouge. The first part of the event will be a screening of The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia will be featured. It will be on November 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. (CST). The location is the Shaw Center for the Arts on 100 Lafayette Street in Baton Rouge.
On November 13, there will be a seminar entitled The Past, Present and Future of Dyslexia. It will be from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (CST) at the Penningtion Biomedical Research Center on 6400 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge.
Special guests for both events will include Dr. Bennett Shaywitz and Dr. Sally Shaywitz with the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity. A PDF version of the invitation is attached below.
